New knowledge leads to personal and economical progress

On February 26 — 28, 2013 Agro-Soyuz hosted a seminar on agribusiness management. The specialists of the Holding took the liberty and responsibility to offer their achievements to managers and investors of Russian, Ukrainian and Moldavian enterprises.

-Business environment is changing rapidly. You should know your market, understand peculiarities of competition, direction of development of your industry and your customer’s business. Rapid changes require constant update of knowledge and perfection of skills. Those who want to lead the industry cannot afford to stick to a constant role, function or mode of actions, since these undergo daily verification of by a constantly changing scenarios, — said Elena Shevchenko, the Head of the consulting company «Agro-Soyuz-Projects» in the beginning of her presentation.

A seminar on agribusiness managementManagement specialists of different level of reputation and importance offer different managerial models. Few people want to take the risk and study and adopt these models at their own enterprises. This is why Agro-Soyuz’s seminars are so attractive for farm managers and investors.

The technicians and managers of Agro-Soyuz-Projects work at enterprises with different level of development, in different environments and can adapt the best managerial practices at their own enterprise. This practical experience is rather unique and allows others to consider our failures and mistakes as well as promote our success. The specialists of Agro-Soyuz do not just deliver theory, but speak about its practical application and the results they managed to achieve. That’s why presentations of Agro-Soyuz’s specialists provoked a lot of questions and real interest. The participants of the seminar try to solve managerial problems of both their own enterprises and the enterprises of the Holding. It is known that «fresh» look from outside can reveal untapped resources. The attendees of the seminar appreciated the Holding’s approach to creation of a business development model. This process starts with determination and deep analysis of the situation «as is», reflecting true figures and results in dynamics.

Sergey CherepanovSergey Cherepanov, Head of managerial team, «Progress AGRO» LLC, Zaporozhye region, Ukraine:

— I think, these three days were very useful for us. Now we need to «digest» everything that we’ve heard, write it down at home, brush it up and start working. The seminar also allowed to understand managerial mistakes that exist at our enterprise. They say ‘It’s not about machines, it’s about people’. The experience that we obtained here is the most valuable what people can get. It is very encouraging to hear ‘Yes, we also faced this, but don’t worry, we’ve coped with it«. And you understand that everything is not so dramatic, you can also cope with this problem.

Ekaterina DokashenkoEkaterina Dokashenko, Deputy CFO, «AmurAgroComplex», Amur region, Russia:

— The practical value of this seminar for us is obvious. We appreciated receiving presentation materials, because it’s very difficult to comprehend and write everything. This will give us another opportunity to sit down together at home and think about everything again. This is not our first time at Agro-Soyuz. Moreover, we also invited Agro-Soyuz’s specialists to hold the Crop production school and management seminar in Blagoveshchensk in March.

There are a lot of management theories, but we are interested in those that have been practically tested at the enterprise and yielded specific results. That’s why we always return to Agro-Soyuz.
