Agro-Soyuz’s projects are presented in Tatarstan

Agro-SoyuzAgro-Soyuz Holding took part in the National workshop held by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan on Vakhitova farm (Kukmorsky district, Tatarstan). Agro-Soyuz displayed innovational resource-saving machinery and quickly-built hangars of own production.

The President of Tatarstan Mr. Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by other officials attended the workshop and visited the booth of Agro-Soyuz Holding — «the company that actively implements resource-saving technologies and takes care of several farms in Tatarstan». This is how Agro-Soyuz was introduced to the President.

Sergey ProkayevThe CEO of the Holding Mr. Sergey Prokayev informed the high-ranking guests about the development of the Program of adoption of resource-saving technologies and efficient management of agribusiness enterprises in Tatarstan. The governmental authorities of Tatarstan highly appreciated the contribution of Agro-Soyuz into development of energy-saving technologies of the Republic. The Program is working on «Vyatskiye Zori» farm, «Soyuz-Agro» farm and «Breeding farm n.a. V.I. Lenin» for a year. These farms implement the models of crop production based on the principles of conservation agriculture and efficient management of agribusiness. Agro-Soyuz provides technical and technological support of producers of Tatarstan within the framework of resource-saving technologies.

Agro-SoyuzThe agronomist of «Vyatskiye Zori» farm says: «Today, water is the most limiting factor for Tatarstan farming. With No-Till we obtained good emergence and saved moisture. With conventional tillage and sweep-opener machines the situation is not so good». This was also mentioned by other participants of the workshop. These days farmers of Tatarstan begin harvesting their first yield produced with joint efforts.

During the workshop Production Enterprise «Agro-Soyuz» presented its new product, i.e. the seeder «Agro-Soyuz-TURBOSEM 19-40». Ivan Chaly, Sales Director of PE «Agro-Soyuz» says: «Our machinery provoked great interest among farmers. As of today many farms in Tatarstan possess average-size tractors (180-250 h.p.). Our 7.6-meter wide machine can be pulled by this type of tractors very easily».

Agro-SoyuzFarmers of Tatarstan keep track of Agro-Soyuz’s work very attentively, as everybody understands that transition to new technologies is inevitable if one wants to be successful in crop production. A proven way to costs reduction and efficiency improvement is adoption of resource-saving technologies, i.e. direct seeding technology (No-Till). Many Russian farmers are successful in farming due to adoption of resource-saving technologies.
